I have recenly started playing the game Hacknet since i started thinking about getting into cybersecurity and wanted to make the introduction fun. I stumbled upon the game by completely by accident though when i saw it on a Steam sale for 1,50euro or something like that.
Okay so to be absolutely fair i have only played about 2 hours so far but ive gotta say the way the game is made is quite nice. I really do feel as if i were a hacker digging through peoples files and such. And the music doesnt suck either, overall it is actually pretty immersive. As I said i have only played about 2 hours so far but I've had fun and learned basic linux commands while at it which cannot hurt.
The only issue i have run into so far is that when i first started the game the text was really really blurry and dont get me wrong i am aware I should get a prescription for glasses but this was another level. Thank God i managed to fix it by finding the local executable file, going into the properties and changing the resolution. Now i can actually read what i am supposed to do, or at least partially, the game isnt very accessible you see. I would love an option for even bigger text since i am already at "large" and i still gotta squint like crazy. But common less than 2 bucks and i get to have fun while learning shit, thats still absolutely worth it.
